This is a letterpress and calligraphy blog, a space in which I will upload my works and compositions, around the use, form and counter-form of the letter. Almost a century ago, H.N. Werkman, fleeing from the rigidity of the projects that came out of his printing press, made a 180o turn professionally. He began to develop his works under the name Druksels and Tiksels. These were free and unique typesetting compositions. He made use of materials saved from the printing presses; a manual press, cuts of wood, ink, and to a lesser extent, some of his simpler templates. Years later, this became the starting point of my project, without wanting or approaching it, only as a means of inspiration.
