Dear Content is an agency specializing in creating and optimizing online content. They contacted me to develop their website structure and illustrations using WordPress. We used the universe as a metaphor for the agency’s scope and impact, complemented by a naïve art style.
We worked on the layout/configuration in WordPress and the layout in HTML5. We used CSS3 for the illustration and design of icons, parallax backgrounds etcetera.

Macromedia Flash technology lost its position as the standard-bearer for movement and interaction in websites; the usability and indexing of websites were prevailing in search engines.
HTML5 and CSS3 benefitted from this, and Parallax backgrounds became popular. The parallax background system is activated with the use of vertical scroll navigation and adds subtle movements to a website.
